First Hit! Group Break: 2005 UD Classics Pack 07

First Hit!

With the seventh pack pulled out of the UD Classics box, I've found the first true hit of the group break.  Remember, each UD Classics box is supposed to contain two hits so there's still another one lurking in the box (along with some serially numbered cards since I haven't found any of those yet either) - lots of good stuff still!

The Retro Rookie cards were inserted 1 in every 4 packs.  I don't exactly get the point of these cards, other than to just have a reason to "short print" part of the set. 
And finally, the first hit!
LL-GG  Goose Gossage - League Leaders Relic (Yankees)

The relic cards are inserted 1:14 packs, so there still should be a second hit hiding in the box somewhere!  That said, this is a nice little card of Gossage, you can even see where the stitching was taken out of the cloth.  Better yet, the cloth swatch color matches the jersey Gossage is wearing in the photo!
