That's right, as the title of the post says, we have found our first hit of the group break!
1999 Fleer Mystique:
Pack 5:
91. Dean Palmer - Tigers
95. Larry Walker - Rockies
Once again, the middle card in the pack seems to have quite a bit of curling happening with the top coating of the card. In this case, that means Walker is curling a bit.
Fresh Ink Autograph:
Juan Encarnacion
The card is hand numbered 0401/1000 and is singed on card. I'm not quite sure how Juan's first name ends up being longer than his last name in his signature though! The autographs are seeded 1 in every 2 boxes, so we did well by nabbing one! Congrats to the Tigers on landing the first hit of the group break. I know there is at least one more hit (the Stadium Club box promises one relic per box) so we have at least that to look forward to. Hopefully, with a little luck, we'll land something else good before all is said and done.
Also, it appears the autographs are NOT under the mystery wrap, as this pack had a mystery card as well:
98. Mike Piazza - Mets
Alright, a great pack there - and a good sign for things to come? I hope so!

Yay! The Tigers finally came through! They've been such a bust for me in breaks that I was about to give up on them. I wasn't expecting any hits for this break anyway, so bonus!
