Gypsy Queen Break: Box 1 - Pack 5

Good morning!  It's time for a new day, and with that, a bunch more Gypsy Queen packs!  (Don't worry, I've got some other posts in the works for the week, including a bunch of trade posts plus some other things.)  Anyhow, let's start the day off with a pack...and this particular pack happens to be extremely loaded for one particular team.  Any guesses which one?  (Chances are you guessed wrong - check below):

49.  Honus Wagner - Pirates

I hope you picked the Pirates as the team for which the pack was stacked!  The Wagner is only the beginning of the Pirate goodies.
83.  David Price - Rays
87.  Clayton Kershaw - Dodgers

Just like clockwork - another pack, another Dodger.  I'm amazing when it comes to pulling Dodgers.  You will notice, however, that I've only pulled one measly Reds card so far.  Grr.
199.  James Shields - Rays

If you happened to pick the Rays as the stacked team, give yourself partial credit.
251.  Mark Buehrle - White Sox
253.  Carlos Lee - Astros
264.  Jeremy Hellickson - Rays
Yep, that's three Rays in the pack - but the Pirates are about to have three better cards...
294.  Garrett Jones - Pirates
Gypsy Queen back mini:
176.  Kendry Morales - Angels

The Gypsy Queen back minis are seeded 1:6 packs which means we should get four of these on average per hobby box.  The backs are similar to the Allen & Ginter ad back cards - in other words, they are boring!  It is kind of neat to see the text color be red though, at least they appear to be a bit special (unlike the A&G ad backs in my opinion).

FS15.  Jose Tabata - Pirates

Yep, that three Pirates in the pack (along with three Rays) but the Pirates get the nod as the stacked team based on the Wagner card plus the Tabata insert.
