The Next Jumbo Pack of 2001 Topps Stadium Club!

Yesterday, I busted open the 2001 Topps Stadium Club box.  While the box contains a mere 12 packs - each of those packs contains a whopping 18 cards.  Thus, this post should help out a lot of different team's stack counts!

Let's get it goin'!

Pack 02:
7.  Barry Larkin - Reds

I already had this card, but I love it anyhow!  And it's obvious Larkin was safe.
12.  Ron Coomer - Twins
16.  Andruw Jones - Braves
17.  Raul Mondesi - Blue Jays
29.  Juan Encarnacion - Tigers
31.  Luis Sojo - Yankees
34.  Roberto Alomar - Indians
45.  Javy Lopez - Braves

Unfortunately, the insert in the pack was stuck to this card...and so the back has some pretty serious sticking issues now from separating the two cards.

This is a great looking action shot of Beltre!  The lady (guy?) in green sure didn't want to get hit, did she (he)?

DP18.  Diamond Pearls:  Mike Piazza - Mets

The Diamond Pearls cards stick terribly (see the note on the A-rod card above).  I remember this being a problem even back in 2001 when I bought a few packs of Stadium Club for myself.  I think I had a Jeter Diamond Pearls card that ended up quite damaged when I had to try to pry it apart from the other cards in the pack.  The good news is that the Piazza doesn't look too bad - the bad news is that the Diamond Pearls are seeded 1:3 packs so we'll probably get another three of these cards before all is said and done!
