2015 Allen & Ginter case break: Cancelled

After giving the group break idea some more thought, I decided I need to cancel the entire plan.  I cannot afford to get stuck with a bunch of unclaimed slots right now...and given the way-too-small window in terms of getting payments and ordering the case, I can't see that I can make the group break work.  I apologize for the change in plans, next year I'll try to plan a bit quicker if I am to do a Ginter group break.

-----------------

Given the total lack of interest in the previous group break idea, I've decided to try a revamp with a lower cost of entry!

What we are breaking:
1 FULL Case of 2015 Topps Allen & Ginter's Baseball*
*I will NOT be mailing out any box loaders since they generally will not fit in flat rate mailers.

The case of 2015 Allen & Ginter contains 12 boxes with each box promising three hits - that's 36 HITS right there for the break.

As usual, I will break all the boxes on video and post the videos to the blog!

What you get:
You get all the cards (regular sized and mini) from the team of your choice.!

The Available Slots:

$45 slots:
Boston Red Sox  -
Chicago Cubs -
Cincinnati Reds - Nachos Grande (PAID)
Detroit Tigers -
Los Angeles Angels -
Los Angeles Dodgers -
New York Mets -
New York Yankees -
San Francisco Giants -
Seattle Mariners -
St. Louis Cardinals -
Washington Nationals/Montreal Expos -

$40 slots:
Atlanta Braves  -
Chicago White Sox -
Philadelphia Phillies -
Pittsburgh Pirates -
Texas Rangers -

$35 slots:

Kansas City Royals -
Toronto Blue Jays -

$25 slots:

Oakland Athletics -
San Diego Padres -
Tampa Bay Rays -

In addition to the team slots, there is an additional slot available since this is Allen & Ginter (a product with a fair bit of non-baseball goodies).

The Non-Baseball slot  ($200)

The non-baseball slot will get all (non-boxtopper) cards that don't belong to a MLB team.  This includes all minis and inserts that don't belong to a MLB team as well.

Want to join?  Follow the steps below:

1.  Please leave a comment below with the team(s) you are claiming.
2.  Send PayPal payment to:  fanofreds (dot) auctions (at) gmail (dot) com (the same email that is in my profile).  I would appreciate all payments sent as "gifts."
3.  Send me an email (to the same address as above) with the following information:

Your user name
The team(s) you claimed
The email address you sent payment from
Your mailing address

I ask that everyone do the above three steps, even if I have traded with you many times - it makes packaging the cards a much, much quicker task for me.  Thanks!

Finally, if you have a blog / twitter / etc., I would appreciate any and all help advertising this break.  I cannot order the case until I have assurance that I will sell all the slots!

Comments

  1. I'm going to give it a bit, but if no one else pulls the trigger on that non-baseball slot, I might have to.

  2. For me the price was just too much. I realize it is a case but still the initial $75 per team was too high for me. The tiered prices look more manageable. The non-sport slot would be nice but again it is way too pricey for me. (Not sure what my limit on the Non-Sport is though)

  3. Yeah, the timing and pricing were both problems. I went back and forth on whether I even wanted to host a Ginter group break...and by the time I decided to go for it it was much too late!

  4. I was in the woods when you posted this, so I missed it completely :-(
