Happy New Year, everyone!
The calendar may now say 2026, but I'm going to be firmly stuck in 2025 for a few more weeks (months?) as I try to complete the various 2025 baseball card sets that I'm still working on. Case in point: the 2025 Allen & Ginter mini insert sets!
Today, I've got a recent eBay win to show off - five assorted minis, and with that, I inch ever closer to completing a bunch of sets. Little progress is better than no progress!
The standout card for me from the lot is the Round Island Lighthouse. I'm enjoying that insert set much more than I thought I would when I first read about what Topps was including in the 2025 set. I love the colors of the cards, and I can't wait to show off the full set in my binder pages once it's finally complete.
Also, I should take a moment to say THANK YOU to Topps for (finally) making most of their mini insert sets fit nicely in 15-card mini pocket pages. For the first time, three of the five main mini insert sets are exactly 30 cards in size (i.e., they fill exactly two of the 15-card mini pocket pages). I appreciate that more than Topps will ever know, but at least I've made my appreciation public here!
As a 20-pocket page user I'd prefer the mini sets to be 60 cards so they play nice for everyone.
