Group Break Update: Who's Got What So Far? (Plus Another Pack)

With over half of the group break completed, I thought it was about time for me to post an update on the group break standings.  Of course, there's a decent chance my super efficient method of tallying cards is incorrect, but for the most part it should give a good indication of how things are going for each team in the break.

As you can see from my scribbles, most teams are doing quite well (which I'm happy about).  The "S's" stand for serial numbering, I simply forgot to delete the serial number column on my spreadsheet when I printed it off originally (mostly because Archives isn't about serial numbering for the most part).  So far, the Braves, Orioles, Reds, Angels, Mets, Yankees, Phillies, Giants, Rangers, and Blue Jays all have at least one autograph, relic, or card seeded 1 per box or rarer.  That's a nice mix which should make a lot of people happy!

Of course, the flip side is that there are a couple of teams that are lacking.  For instance, by my count we've found exactly one Marlin base card and only two Astros.  The Padres aren't much better though their total does equal the sum of the Marlins and Astros.  The break still has quite a few more packs (including one more full box) so there's still time for all teams involved.

Speaking of which, let's crack open one more pack right now:

Box 2 - Pack 16:
Adam Wainwright - Cardinals
Dave Winfield - Yankees
Matt Kemp - Dodgers
Prince Fielder - Tigers
Shelby Miller - Cardinals

Aaron Hill - Diamondbacks
MT-CK.  Tall Boys:  Clayton Kershaw - Dodgers

61.  Gold Parallel:  Shelby Miller - Cardinals #197/199

Well, that pack sure added to both the Dodgers and (especially) the Cardinals totals!  Congrats to those two teams.

  1. I've opened up two '13 Bowman packs with Miller and Wainwright as back-to-back cards. Now these two redbirds are in the same Archives pack? Weird.
