Group Break Goodies (Packs 19 - 21)

We are now officially making our way to the second half of the Series 2 box.  Still looking for our one promised hit - and hoping we get something cool!  Let's keep the group break rolling along...

Series 2 - Pack 19:
Steven Lerud - Phillies
Ryan Wheeler - Rockies
Tyler Flowers - White Sox
Drew Pomeranz - Rockies
Craig Gentry - Rangers
Evereth Cabrera - Padres
Andy Dirks - Tigers
B.J. Upton - Braves
Glen Perkins - Twins
635.  Emerald parallel:  Jedd Gyorko - Padres

Although the Padres' uniforms aren't green, I think this is still a good looking card.  The emerald parallels are definitely hit or miss though, sort of like the Atlanta Braves lineup.

Pack 20:
Josh Hamilton - Angels
Clay Buchholz - Red Sox
Brett Myers - Indians
Andres Torres - Giants
Stephen Strasburg - Nationals
Elvis Andrus - Rangers
Steve Cishek - Marlins
Brandon Beachy - Braves
Anibal Sanchez - Tigers
CH-84.  Chasing History:  Mariano Rivera - Yankees

I think Rivera is a solid choice for the Chasing History insert set.  His card celebrates him chasing the career ERA title (entering 2013, Rivera was at 2.21 while the record stands at 2.20).

Pack 21:
Evan Gattis - Braves
Jose Iglesias - Red Sox
Jose Quintana - White Sox
Dallas Keuchel - Astros
Homer Bailey - Reds
Lonnie Chisenhall - Indians
Miguel Gonzalez - Orioles
Carl Crawford - Dodgers
TM-100.  Mini:  Eddie Mathews - Braves

MM-14.  Making their Mark:  Lance Lynn - Cardinals

As far as I'm concerned, the Homer Bailey card is the best card in the pack...it shows Bailey right after his first no-hitter.  I look forward to Topps celebrating Bailey's second no-hitter in next year's set!
