It's time to show off the contents of my final retail Jumbo Pack of 2014 Topps Allen & Ginter's. I think this will be my final retail purchase as I have four hobby boxes to sort through now (though one has to be saved for Gint-a-Cuffs)!
Upper half:

Nothing spectacular in the upper half though I do appreciate the Andrus short print. I've actually done pretty well with the short prints so far - I have 12 of the 50 already!

Pastime's Pastimes: Dwight Gooden
Most players have "philanthropist" listed as their pastime which seems like a cop-out to me. Gooden, however, says his pastime is writing (they don't make ballplayers like that anymore)!
World's Capitals: Buenos Aires, Argentina
I love the World's Capitals cards - and I think they work well as a regular sized insert. Now if Topps could only choose higher quality images for their cards.
Reg. mini: 84. Francisco Liriano
Believe it or not, this is the second Liriano regular back mini that I've pulled this year! Sheesh.
World's Deadliest Predators: 10. Hyena
Woo! Another mini insert card. I think the mini inserts are what drive my interest (and love) of Ginter year in and year out. This year's minis aren't the best ever but the are still quite fun...and I like that Topps actually included a bit of information about the subject on the back of the card (as opposed to a checklist or the like).
Oh, and because I didn't say it yet:
I WANT YOUR 2014 TOPPS ALLEN & GINTER'S INSERTS (minis, regular sized, and box toppers)! Let me know what you have to trade!

I got a full set of the full-sized cards in the mail yesterday. About 1/3 of the Pastime's Pastimes cards list 'Philanthropist' as the player's hobby. It was either 33 or 34 of the players in the set. I can't remember the exact number. Probably the next highest hobby listed on player cards was something like 'Family Man.' Next highest was probably a catch-all of categories that basically amounted to 'Things One Has to Do to Be a Baseball Player,' like being a good teammate, lifting weights, and playing baseball (seriously, two or three guys were listed as enjoying baseball). This insert had a whole lot of potential, and Topps completely blew it.
