The 1992 Special Stadium Set is often referred to as the Stadium Club Dome set. Even more confusing, the set was actually released in March of 1992 but it contains a copyright date of 1991 on the bottom of the card.
As for the set itself, it was actually a 200-card hobby only set which was sold in a package designed to look like Toronto's SkyDome (home of the 1991 MLB All-Star Game). The card design is entirely reminiscent of the 1991 Stadium Club set with the All-Star game logo replacing the rookie card image. I do appreciate the fact that Topps used a different photo as compared to the original Stadium Club set but otherwise this set isn't overly exciting. In fact, it's basically a glorified 200 card subset of the original Stadium Club set...but released months later!
