My "Year of the Completed Set" continues along with more success! Today, I am able to proudly show off the final card that I needed from the 2016 Topps Allen & Ginter Ferocious Felines mini insert set:
I got this one for $1.50 off of eBay (including shipping). Hard to beat that for the final card needed for a set build! In fact, this card doesn't simply finish off the Ferocious Felines set, but it also finishes off everything that I'm trying to collect from the 2016 A&G set...and from the year 2016 in general! It feels great to knock an entire year off of my want list!
For the record, here's a full list of all of the sets that I've managed to complete so far in 2021:
- 1992 Upper Deck: Bench/Morgan Baseball Heroes insert
- 1996 Collector's Choice
- 1999 Fleer Sports Illustrated
- 2000 Fleer Focus: Focal Points insert
- 2000 Fleer Tradition
- 2004 Upper Deck Vintage
- 2009 Topps Heritage: New Age Performers insert
- 2016 Topps Allen & Ginter: Ferocious Felines mini insert
- 2016 Topps Allen & Ginter: Laureates of Peace mini insert
- 2017 Topps Archives
- 2017 Topps Gallery
- 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter: World Talent insert
- 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter: Baseball Superstitions mini insert
- 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter: Flags of Lost Nations mini insert
- 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter: Folio of Fears mini insert
- 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter: Indigenous Heroes mini insert
- 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter: Postage Required mini insert
- 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter: World's Hottest Peppers mini insert
- 2018 Topps Gypsy Queen: Tarot of the Diamond insert
- 2020 Topps Allen & Ginter: Booming Cities mini insert
- 2020 Topps Allen & Ginter: Buggin' Out mini insert
- 2020 Topps Allen & Ginter: Citadels & Safeholds mini insert

I'm super excited about my progress above, but even more so by the fact that I've also made a lot of progress on plenty of other sets that I still haven't quite finished off. It's nice to move forward with a collection - and spending this year focusing on that one particular goal has been paying off nicely for me!
...now if only I could find that 2013 Topps Archives Gallery of Heroes card of Mike Trout!

I made it clear in the Ginter tournament that I'm not the biggest fan of animals on baseball cards, but I have to admit that's a lovely card. Congrats on finishing another set.
ReplyDeleteBengal tigers sure are pretty.
