Monday's are for TCDB Recaps!

Happy Monday, everyone!  I'm happy to report that I actually do have some new cards to show off from TCDB trades last week so let's jump right in!

We'll begin with a PWE from user MHLayton.

That's a pair of 2023 Topps Barry Larkin cards.  Both are of the "blue" variety which makes both parallels of insert sets.  Personally, I don't mind parallels of base cards but parallels of insert sets kind of bug me.  That said, I'm a player collector (and a sucker) so I did stick the various insert parallels on my TCDB want list and so now you get trades recaps such as this one!  According to TCDB, the blue 1988 card has a print run of only 600 (though the card isn't serially numbered).  While I may not love the concept of parallels of inserts, I'm definitely happy to acquire two such Barry Larkin cards in the same trade!

Yep, two more needed Barry Larkin cards for my collection!  I was especially excited to acquire that Donruss Crusade card as it's my first Barry Larkin card from that particular set.  Speaking of the 1998 Donruss set, here are my Barry Larkin needs/haves from that set:

As usual, a "yes" means I have the card while a "no" means I still need it.  Clearly, I still have quite a ways to go on this particular set but at least I've now got one of the three Crusade cards!  

Overall, definitely a good week of trading on TCDB - four new Larkin cards in one week will always make me happy!  Next week should be another good week as I've sent out my end of a number of different trades - so hopefully I'll have a full mailbag to show off seven days for now!
