Not-So-Secret Santa Return #4: Randy S.

We are now firmly into the year 2024 but I still have a number of Not-So-Secret Santa packages to show off from 2023!  Let's get to it, shall we?

Today's package comes from blog reader Randy S.  Randy included a lovely note with his package (always appreciate the kind words people send my way)!

In addition to the note, Randy sent a smattering of old "junk wax" packs spread across a number of sports (baseball, hockey, football, and Canadian football).

Unopened packs were one of the things I said I'd be interested in as part of anyone's Not-So-Secret Santa gift because 1) they are relatively easy to find so hopefully anyone who wanted to participate in the program could do so even if they didn't have any specific cardboard needs for me and 2) I can always use unopened packs for future group breaks, giveaways, or contest prizes.  So with that in mind, thank you Randy!

In addition to the packs, Randy also sent me a board game:

That's a Grab & Go version of Monopoly, presumably a lot smaller than regular Monopoly!  The game is different than the version of Monopoly that I own in that this one comes with three dice for reasons that I'm unsure about (obviously, I haven't read the rules yet)!  Pretty cool gift though as I always love getting board games.

Thanks for the return package, Randy!  I hope you enjoyed what I sent you - and I definitely hope to run my Not-So-Secret Santa program again in late 2024 so keep that in mind for anyone who missed out this past year!

  2. Solid variety of packs. You can never have enough sitting around in your rainy day pack stash... or in your case group breaks, contest prizes, and giveaway stash.

  3. Ooh, I would not be able to leave those '92 Pro Set packs sealed for very long.
