TCDB Monday (Shiny, Shiny, and Some Other Shiny!)

Happy Monday, everyone.  As usual, I "celebrate" the beginning of the week by taking a look back at the mail I received in the previous seven days from TCDB trades.  This past week was a solid week of mail, so let's jump right in!

From TCDB user horfin comes a pair of 2025 Topps Chrome Mojo cards:

I am still plugging away at both the Chrome set and the Chrome All-Star set.  The Shoto card is particularly nice with all of the blue on it. What a great-looking Cubs card.  Of course, I also have to give the Alcantara card a bit of love with the ivy in the background.  Overall, I'd say I went two-for-two on nice-looking cards in this trade!

Next up, from user mattheinz23 comes another pair of 2025 Topps Chrome Mojo cards:

Two more from the Series 2 portion of the "base" Chrome Mojo set.  Series 2 only has 50 cards in this set (with the other 50 cards being in the All-Star set).  I don't have much to say about either DeGrom or Adames, but I am certainly happy to be two more cards closer to completing my set.

Finally, we end with perhaps my favorite swap of the week, courtesy of user Ryegram:

Yep, we are going back to 2024 with this swap.  I was able to grab one of the final A&G Chrome Refractors (Elly's rookie, no less) plus a pair of mini Chrome cards (yep, two more rookie cards).  I'm getting close to completing both Ginter Chrome sets, and this trade definitely helped me acquire some of the biggest remaining names in the set!

And with that, the mailbag is now empty. 

It was definitely a good week of trading; hopefully, that momentum will continue in the next several weeks!
