TCDB Monday: I'm Back at It!

We've made it past the halfway point of October, so let's celebrate with another TCDB mailbag post!

After a couple of weeks without receiving any trades in the mail, I'm pleased to report that I finally got some new-to-me baseball cards this past week.  

Thanks to TCDB user JustinBobo77, I was able to swing a deal for some more needed 2025 Topps Silver Pack Chrome cards:

It's been a rather slow go trying to collect the 100 Silver Pack Chrome cards from Series 2.  Based on the pace I've set, it seems that perhaps a lot less Series 2 was ripped as compared to Series 1 (which makes sense, I know I was way more interested in Series 1 myself)!  No matter, I'm glad somebody out there is ripping hobby boxes of the stuff; otherwise, I'd never finish the Silver Pack set!

Next up, another swap with someone who has obviously ripped some 2025 Topps Series 2 product!  

That Zebby card is thanks to TCDB user b14rebel.  I love the Chrome Mojo effect on the cards, and it looks particularly striking on the Zebby (maybe because of the purple borders)?  Whatever it is, it's sharp-looking, and I'm glad the card is now safely tucked in my set binder!

Finally, we end with a swap with user devin731:

Yep, more folks who have ripped 2025 Topps Series 2.  I told you I was working hard on collecting the full Silver Pack Chrome set!  The Bobby Witt, Jr. card is probably my second-favorite card of the week (trailing only the Zebby).  

That does it for the past week on TCDB.  It's great to continue making progress on 2025 sets, because we all know that as soon as 2026 gets here, everyone forgets about last year's stuff!
