I spent a large chunk of my Friday evening sorting through my cards from 2008. I've decided to put quite a few up for bid on eBay with the hopes of earning enough money to pay for the few cards I still need from '08. I hate to get too heavily involved in 2009 cards until then (Topps Heritage '09, I'm looking at you). (See part I and part II for other potential auctions.)
As a bit of preparation, here are just a few of the auctions that I'll be putting up on eBay sometime this week.
Note: If you see something you want, I will GLADLY trade it for cards I need off my want list rather than list it on eBay. The goal is to get rid of cards that I don't want (or need) and get cards I do want/need.
Here's a few of the auctions that will be going up...

Is there any way to distinguish the numbered cards other than the number on the front? Because I swear I've never seen them before and I've bought a hobby box of both Series 1 & 2.
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming you mean the Upper Deck gold cards. Yeah, if memory serves (I'm at work right now), the card backs are gold in color as opposed to the white/grey color of the "normal" base cards. I forget the odds, but I think the gold cards were quite rare.
