Gint-a-Cuffs - Box 01: Box Topper & Packs 01 and 02

I've seen a ton of people post portions of their Gint-a-Cuffs boxes but I don't know if I've seen anyone's final box tally.  I suppose it is time for me to throw my proverbial hat in the ring and give this a shot as well.  Here we go!

Box Topper:
Cabinet card:
NCCB8.  Mount Rushmore

+8 points

Pack 01:
38.  Tiago Della Vega
67.  Carl Crawford  (+2 Favorite Player)
85.  Yunel Escobar
94.  Luke Hochevar
107.  Adam Dunn  (+2 Favorite Player)
113.  Billy Butler
TDH65.  Zack Greinke (+1 so that each pack is worth at least one barring stupid Yankees)
Regular mini:  118.  Eric Young Jr.

Pack total:  +5 points

Pack 02:
42.  Mark DeRosa
87.  Alexei Ramirez
119.  Dan Uggla
161.  Luis Durango
167.  Dan Haren
AGHS10.  Hideki Matsui (+3 Sketch but -1 Yankee = +2)
TDH45.  Miguel Cabrera (+1)
SSS2.  Sir Francis Drake (+4 points for sailing the seas)

Pack total:  +7 points

Box total so far:  +20 points

I'm guessing an average of 6 points per pack won't get it done.  Certainly not the best start to Gint-a-Cuffs, but hey, the first couple of packs are usually duds right?!

  1. I wish you would have told me that the first couple packs in the box are duds before i pulled the top 5 packs from the box at my hobby shop for $7 a piece. I woulda dug deep instead

  2. Yeah, most of the boxes I busted had the hit in the bottom packs of each column. However, in boxes where there was either a silk or rip card (or more than 3 hits), the hits were almost always in the middle of the left and center stacks and on top of the right stack. I have no idea if that holds true for all boxes, but it was pretty much true for my case. Also, $7.00 a pack, ouch. I love me some Ginter but there's no way I'd fork over that much cash for a few packs!
