3300 Posts. Wow?

According to my Blogger home page, this is my 3,300th post here at Nachos Grande.

Of those 3,300, I'd probably be hard-pressed to find 33 that are actually worth reading.  Oh well.  Quantity counts for something, right?

I can tell you one thing - if you read all 3300 posts of mine, you won't learn much about Bowman because I still don't understand the set.  Today's pack for the ongoing Pack Wars is a 2011 Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects pack (I think)?

There's virtually no chance this pack wins, am I right?

33.  Cody Eppley - Rangers
It's hard to assign points to guys that haven't made it to the big leagues (or at least they haven't made it to the best of my knowledge).  I don't understand Bowman collectors.  +0

98.  Adam Wilk - Tigers
I can assure you that the cards from this pack are up for trade.  +0

77.  Matt Young - Braves (chrome)

The pack wrapper says that you get two chrome cards per pack.  Isn't there a Bowman Chrome set out there?  I don't get Bowman.  +2 for the shiny.

BDPP64.  Brandon Culbreth - Astros (purple refractor)

Ok, even I can admit that this card is nice looking.  I think all Bowman should be refractors with colored borders.  Then maybe I'd buy the set (probably not, but you never know).  +3 for the purple.

BDPP74.  Kyle Kubitza - Braves

This is a gold bordered, thick card.  I thought it was a pack filler at first...but apparently it's a parallel set?  I dunno, I don't get Bowman.  -2 because thick stupid cards aren't worth it.

BDPP21.  Harold Riggins - Rockies
Uhm.  Yeah.  +0

BDPP47.  Sean Buckley - Reds
I've never heard of Buckley (shocker I know).  At least he's a Red (for now).  +1 for that.

Pack total:  4 points

Four points seems about right for that pack.  At least the cards were new to me (unlike the plethora of 2011 Topps packs).
