LEGO Theme Week: Sometimes I'm an Idiot...

I've been fairly active on Listia lately, mostly trying to "give away" my extra 2013 Topps Archives cards in order to accumulate credits to land needed LEGO figures (and sets if I'm lucky).  

A couple of weeks ago, I finally had enough credits so that I could bid on a lot of LEGO minifigures.  Of course, I thought I knew what figures I needed when I bid so I didn't bother checking my want list.  Idiot.

You better believe it.  A wasted 2,000 some credits (or maybe more, time makes me forget) and all I have to show for it is three figures that I already owned.  One was the Roman Commander - yes, the third time in three days that that figure makes an appearance.  However, this particular Commander has already been traded away (phew).

The other two figures?  Well, maybe you might want them...

Motorcycle Mechanic:

This is easily one of the "coolest" LEGO figures ever made.  In the sense that tattoos and and a skull on your back make you cool.  

Baseball Fielder:

At least this goes with my blog...I'm thinking someone out there might be interested in trading for this one!

And so, the lesson is:  Check your want lists before making a purchase no matter how smart you think you.
