Priority Flat Rate Box Exploration: Team Bag #7 from 2x3 Heroes! (The Final Bag)

For those that are interested in my 2013 Topps Chrome box bust so far, I invite you to check out this morning's post.  For those looking forward to seeing what is in the seventh and final team bag from Jeff over at 2x3 Heroes - here it is!

Once again, here are the five cards that caught my eye as I looked through the team bag full of Reds!

#5:  2012 Bowman Chrome:  Daniel Corcino

I think I'm on a Chrome kick because the first two cards on this list both share some chrome-y aspects.  In Corcino's case, this is his 1st Bowman Chrome card which doesn't really have the same ring as a true "rookie card."  Still, it's a new card for my Reds' collection so I'm happy!

#4:  2013 Panini Prizm:  Zack Cozart

I don't usually buy non-licensed stuff (aka Panini) so getting some Reds from any Panini set is usually appreciated.  In the case of Prizm (stupid spelling by the way), I believe this is my first such card from the set.  It wouldn't be a terrible set if Panini could have used team logos...and maybe if they cooled it a bit with fake metal background.

#3:  1997 Topps:  Bret Boone

The 1997 Topps seems to be overlooked by almost everyone.  To the best of my recollection, I don't think I've ever seen a blogger with a list of the 1997 Topps wants.  That strikes me as somewhat odd since this set isn't that bad...  Sure, the name could be a bit easier to read - but the photography is ok and the back of the card is alright as well.

#2:  1993 Topps:  Joe Oliver

This is simply a great looking card of the Reds' catcher.  The back of Oliver's card celebrates his 10th-inning hit in Game 2 of the 1990 World Series which was a game winner.  Good times!

#1:  2012 Topps Update:  Joey Votto (blue parallel)

This is one of those Wal*Mart (I think?) blue parallels from the Topps Update set.  It's an odd duck - other than the small Reds logo in the bottom card, nothing about this card screams "Cincinnati Reds."  Votto is wearing all blue, the card is bordered in blue, and the All-Star logo is basically the Royals' logo reimagined a bit.

Thanks for the great trade package Jeff!  And, as always, if anyone else would like to trade (big or small trades welcome), check out my want list and make an offer!
