Well...

The good news is that we finally got a new autograph.  The bad news is we didn't pull any super mojo autographs.

I have to say, Box #2 was disappointing for most group break participants (in the sense that almost every base card and two of the three autographs were duplicates).  On the other hand, we DID pull a case hit in Box #2 (congrats White Sox) which in my eyes does redeem the box.  I can't complain about pulling a $70-80 card (according to eBay, not Beckett) in the box - plus the three autographs.

I hope everyone has enjoyed their time with the break.  I will be including some assorted team cards from my own collection to help flesh out some of the team stacks.  I also included a bunch of other packs in the break - go to my YouTube Channel to watch me open up all the packs in the break in case you missed any!

By the time you read this post, I should have some of the group break cards packaged up.  I plan to make trips to the post office throughout the week with the goal of getting everyone's cards out to them by the end of the week.  Thanks for playing along - and if you have ideas for a future group break let me know in the comments below!

  1. I made out rather well and am pretty pleased I took the plunge.

The duplicates do stink, I think this has to be the No. 1 complaint of collectors, yet Topps and other companies continue to offer up collation like this.

I think I did okay, just a lot of base and a field access insert. An idea for another break if you would do it with me is a 6 box break of Series 1 or something.

  3. I guess it was my lucky day. I'm pumped you pulled that Polanco. Thanks for holding the break.
