The Gold Rainbow parallel is the third most common serially numbered parallel (after the Confetti Diffractors #/99 and Sky Rainbows #/79). It's a fairly steep drop in terms of serial numbers to the Gold Rainbows of which only 35 of each player were made. The Gold Rainbows are, unsurprisingly, quite difficult to find as well seeing as how they are seeded 1 in every 7 boxes!
As for the Larkin card itself, the pattern is still the same waves pattern as in the Confetti Diffractor and Sky Rainbow cards except now the waves are gold (surprise surprise)! For my money, the Gold Rainbow cards are the nicest of the three most common serially numbered parallels - the gold color works well for a parallel (or at perhaps Topps has simply trained us to think that gold is a great color for a parallel).

I have to agree I think the gold diffractors, are then called Rainbows now? are the nicest of the parallels, at least that I've seen in hand. Although last year the Golds were the most common serial numbered parallel.
