Group Break: 2017 Topps Archives - Box #1: Packs 10 - 12

We are making solid progress on our first group break box...and if you missed it, I opened a couple more bonus packs on video earlier today (actually, I opened those packs yesterday but the video went "live" today).  You know what I meant.

Anyhow, it is time to get back to the box of 2017 Topps Archives - here are the next three packs.

Pack 10:
18.  Sean Manaea - Athletics
46.  Aaron Sanchez - Blue Jays
122.  Willie Stargell - Pirates
185.  Ivan Rodriguez - Rangers
244.  Trevor Story - Rockies
253.  Jean Segura - Mariners
283.  Adam Eaton - Nationals
Bazooka:  59B-10.  Alex Bregman - Astros

I like the Bazooka "minis" quite a bit - and that Bregman looks particularly awesome given the sky in the background.

Pack 11:
30.  Khris Davis - Athletics
58.  Odubel Herrera - Phillies
109.  Gavin Cecchini - Mets
142.  Carlos Asuaje - Padres
157.  Aledmys Diaz - Cardinals
210.  Mookie Betts - Red Sox

266.  Daniel Murphy - Nationals

Derek Jeter Retrospective:  DJ-17.  Derek Jeter - Yankees

The Jeter is from the Retrospective insert set featuring all of Jeter's Topps base cards over the years.  The set itself is 22 cards in size (with the first and last cards in the set short printed).  The "regular" Jeter insert cards are seeded 1:12 packs...so good luck to anyone trying to complete the entire set.  Sheesh, you'd need more than a case's worth of cards.

Pack 12:
1.  Mike Trout - Angels
62.  Aaron Judge - Yankees

85.  Jon Lester - Cubs
124.  Randal Grichuk - Cardinals
146.  Michael Fulmer - Tigers
180.  Danny Duffy - Royals
249.  Tom Glavine - Braves
277.  Yoan Moncada - White Sox

And that does it for those three packs.  I think the Yankees (and thus Play at the Plate) were the big winners in this round of cards, though Bru might disagree with the nice Bregman Bazooka insert for his Astros.
