Delivery Time! Trade with Blog Reader Andy

About a week or so ago, I completed a trade with blog reader Andy (who doesn't have his own blog as far as my records show).  Andy was able to help me out with a bunch of my set needs including 2017 Archives, 2017 Ginter, and even a single 2010 National Chicle card.

Let's start with the National Chicle card since that was a set that I (quite frankly) forgot that I was still working on.  That's how long it has been since I've made any significant progress on the set.

Looking at the Desmond, it isn't hard to see why National Chicle was a one-and-done set.  While there are undoubtedly some gems in the set, there are also a lot of fairly creepy images like the one of Ian.  Who (besides me apparently) wants to collect something like that?!  All that said, I'm now so tantalizingly close to completing the set that I have no plans to remove it from my want list.  If you happen to have any cards from 2010 National Chicle lying around, perhaps you can help me?  Here's what I still need:
2010 Topps National Chicle Wants:  Base:  276, 278, 285, 286, 287, 295, 296, 299, 302, 303, 308, 311, 312, 315, 317, 321, 328, 330
The rest of the want list help was from the current year, but that doesn't make me appreciate it any less.  Andy sent a nice sized stack of 2017 Topps Archives my way.

This year's Archives set is quite nice, though I don't get the insane prices that boxes of the stuff go for considering the fact that most of the autographs are worthless (in a strictly monetary sense).  The high prices have kept me from being able to buy any more of the product which means my set completing quest is going to rely heavily on blog trading.  Luckily, I have quite a bit of trade bait myself from the set, so maybe someone out there will want to make a deal soon!

The other main component of the trade package was 2017 Allen & Ginter.  Andy sent me two of the three remaining base cards that I needed, plus a few of the What a Day inserts (I still need a slew of those).

The last of the want list hits from Andy was a pair of 2017 A&G minis, both of which were definitely appreciated seeing how difficult the A&G mini sets are to complete.  Every bit helps!

Speaking of help, here's what I need from this year's A&G set still (and my list of trade bait).

Finally, Andy threw in a pair of Barry Larkin cards for me - one of which was brand new to my collection (which is always awesome)!  I'll have more to say about the Larkin when I feature it in my ongoing Barry Larkin Collection series of posts.

Thanks for the trade, Andy!  And, as always, if anyone else would like to trade check out my want list and make an offer.
