The 2003 Fleer Tradition set had a kind of neat Black and White Goudey insert set. The set featured only 25 players and was in the style of the 1936 Goudey set. The cards measure 2" x 3" and are all serially numbered out of an appropriate 1936!
I happen to like this card quite a bit! The black and white photo works fine here and the back of the card has a nice bit of information (plus it doubles as a game card)! Unfortunately, Fleer couldn't leave well enough alone with this set because in addition to the Black and White version, there is also a retail only Red version (#/500) and a hobby only Gold version (#/36). As of the time of this post, I don't own either of the other two versions of this card.
