Happy Easter, everyone!
Like many of you who celebrate, my family's Easter plans were shot full of holes thanks to Covid-19. Our original plan was to have both my parents and my wife's parents at the house for a fancy dinner (along with my son). As such, a few weeks ago I bought a gigantic ham when it was on sale...
...flash forward a couple of weeks and now everything (and everyone) is in lock-down mode here so there's no big family gathering happening. Instead, my wife, son, and I are saddled with a 9-lb ham to eat all by ourselves.
In an effort to try and still make the day a bit special, I've decided to try and grill the ham on my grill's rotisserie. I've never actually used a rotisserie before, but if it turns out nicely you'll be able to see the fruits (meats?) of my labor over on my Instagram page (which you can find here if you happen to like food posts).

Happy Easter! Looks like you'll be eating ham for a few days. Not that that's a bad thing. Nothing like ham and eggs in the morning. Heck. I'll eat that for dinner too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! Hams are usually precooked so heating it up shouldn't take too long. Hope it turns out well! Sounds great!
ReplyDeleteGood luck grilling that ham, and Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! God Bless
ReplyDeleteHaving nine pounds of ham to eat is certainly better than having no ham to eat! Happy belated Easter :)
