Delivery Time! Night Owl Claims Trade Stack, Night Owl Sends Cards, All is Well.

I've been working diligently on putting together all of the posts for the different years of Allen & Ginter mini insert sets.  That project has taken a lot longer to complete than I was originally expecting...and as such, some of my mail day blog posts have been delayed.  This is one such post, though it's not terribly late (I think this arrived about a week ago).  I have a couple of other (larger) mail days to show off as well but sometimes a PWE is all I have time to write about!

Anyhow, today's PWE comes courtesy of Night Owl who claimed one of my recent Trade Stacks.  As usual when Greg and I trade, both of us sent a few extras the other person's way.  In my case, Greg ended up finding three more mini cards that I needed (including two Allen & Ginter minis from a set that I will be writing about very shortly)!

Kind of nice to be able to knock two more cards off of the want list prior to writing about the 2018 set!  Both of these are from the Folio of Fears mini insert set and while I don't think I'm particularly scared of ghosts I will say that I'm not a huge fan of snakes.  I mean, if I can be certain the snake can't harm me it's fine...but since I'm not an expert in snake identification when I see one in the wild I will typically stay far away.  We actually have rattlesnakes around where I live (which I can identify, by the way) but still, it's probably smart to simply leave the snakes alone!

I did say three minis though, didn't it?  That's because Greg also had one more mini that I needed for my 2012 set.

For some crazy reason that I can no longer explain, I decided to try and build the entire regular back mini set for 2012.  Yeah, like I said.  Crazy.  Anyhow, thanks to the Haney I'm now only 14 cards shy of having the 2012 regular back mini set complete!  That's crazy, but in a good way!

In addition to the minis, Greg filled out the rest of the PWE with a few assorted Reds for me including a nice rookie card of home run hitting Aquino.

I have to admit, I'm not nearly as high on Aquino as a lot of people are...but I hope I'm the one that's wrong.  I'd love for Aquino to become the next Reds masher (his nickname is "The Punisher" after all)!

From new to old, I'd be remiss if I didn't also scan this nice 1967 Topps card.

I've mentioned it a number of times but I don't really own much in the way of vintage cards (say cards before 1980).  Thus, getting one in the mail is always a fun treat for me!

And from true vintage to mock vintage, let's end with this Tucker Barnhart card.

Thanks for claiming the Trade Stack, Greg.  As always, should anyone else wish to trade with me be sure to check out my want list and make an offer!
