Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July, everyone!  The 4th is always a big holiday in my family - my dad's side has their family reunion on the 4th every year (this year will be the 98th year of the reunion which is pretty cool).  Unfortunately, with covid-19 on everyone's mind I don't expect a big turnout for the picnic.  

Truth be told, a smaller gathering is probably much better (and safer) for everyone.  My wife and I debated about staying home ourselves but the picnic is outside and in a nice little park that has a lovely (shallow) stream in the back.  I know that my little guy will love playing in the water so I figure I'll be spending most of my time down there away from the people!  

I hope all of you have a great 4th of July as well.  Stay safe!  And yes, I'll have more "proper" baseball card content on the blog tomorrow.  I probably should have waited to post my Born in the USA Barry Larkin relic today instead of posting it a couple of days ago.  If nothing else, I can at least include the scan again since it's suitably patriotic for today!
