I'm back with yet another envelope from my recent Sportlots purchase - this time from user cochise9.
We'll start with the best card of the envelope - at least for me as a set collector. That card happens to be this Larry Walker from the 1998 Fleer Tradition set.
Why is the Walker the best card? Easy. It's the final card that I needed for my 1998 Fleer Tradition set build! The '98 Tradition set was one of my favorite sets when I was a kid walking to my local CVS to buy cards...and that set has remained a favorite to this day. I'm super happy to have the full thing completed now!
My other purchases from cochise9 all happened to belong to one other set: 2001 Topps HD. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish the set with this purchase but I did grab the final non-short print base card that I needed in the form of a batting Randy Johnson.
I also was able to grab a pair of short prints from the set to round out my purchase.
Anytime I can knock a set off of my want list, I'm going to be quite happy! Grabbing a couple of other short prints was the icing on the cake for this particular purchase. I'm now up to 16 completed sets thus far this year...good stuff all around for my collection!

Cochise9 is one of my favorite sellers on there. I ordered like 250 cards a while back and she sent me a note kinda freaked out. I said I wasn't in a rush and that was OK. Ended up finding a few that she missed the first time and sent them free later.
