Thanks to a recent eBay purchase, I am now the proud owner of the complete set of 2007 Topps Allen & Ginter: the World's Deadliest Snakes insert set. This five-card set was seeded 1:144 packs back in 2007 making it a fairly tough set to complete (after all, it took me about fifteen years to finally finish the set)!
Each of the five cards features (you guessed it) a deadly snake. For me, the card that proved hardest to find was the first card of the set: Arizona Coral Snake.
Here's the full five-card set together in its binder page for your viewing pleasure (or viewing fear I suppose if you are afraid of snakes)!
The backs of each snake card are virtually identical - you get a checklist for the entire set with the only difference between the card backs being the card number itself.
In case the scans are tough to read, here's the full five-card set checklist:

- Arizona Coral Snake
- Copperhead
- Black Mamba
- King Cobra
- Cottonmouth
Overall, this is a fine little set and it fits perfectly within the brand of Allen & Ginter. The cards are definitely rare enough that when you find one it feels special - and that's exactly what an insert set ought to feel like if you ask me. I think the set looks good in a row in a binder page - and while the card backs leave a bit to be desired (no actual information about each specific snake), I still like the set quite a bit overall. I'll give this one a 8.5/10 with the slight score deduction for the lack of snake-specific information on the card backs. Definitely happy to have this set complete!

Congratulations on completing this challenging set. I'm with you on pulling an insert, should make you feel special. I too wish Topps made inserts and parallels harder to pull in general. These days some sets feel more like "subsets" with "insert" numbering.
