Not-So-Secret Santa Return #3: Cards as I See Them

It's time to take a look at another return from last year's Not-So-Secret Santa program that I ran.

Today's envelope is from Jim from the cards as i see them blog.  Jim sent me six needed cards for my 1998 Topps Gold Label set build:

I greatly appreciate all of the above cards because the '98 Gold Label set is one of the sets that I earmarked as a specific goal to finish in 2023.  Thanks to Jim's help, I'm now only missing five cards from the set: 3, 17, 23, 29, 44.  

Thanks a lot to Jim for knocking off a bunch of cards from my want list - and from a set that I specifically mentioned targeting as part of my 2023 blog resolutions no less!  I'll have more Not-So-Secret Santa packages to show off in the near future so stay tuned for that.  The Not-So-Secret Santa program was a rousing success from my end and it's definitely a program I plan to do again at the end of 2023.  I'm also going to have to try and stock up on a few teams (such as the Dodgers which are Jim's team) so that I have some good stuff to send out in 2023!
