The Last of the Sportlots Purchase from 2022!

I finally had a chance to go through the last remaining envelopes in my large Sportlots box purchase that I made in late 2022.  All that was left to do was to sort through various Barry Larkin cards that I purchased - but those take the longest because it requires me to scan the front and back of each card, update my Excel spreadsheet, and update my TCDB page.  Once all that's done, then I get to remove the placeholder slip of paper from my Larkin binder and replace that paper with the actual card.

In the end, here's what I was able to replace:

Not a bad haul!  Of the cards I bought, I think my favorite was this 1994 Leaf card - a card so nice I somehow ended up buying it twice (whoops)!

I'll eventually feature every card I bought as part of my ongoing Barry Larkin Collection series of posts.  I've got tons and tons of Larkin cards currently waiting in the queue (this batch of seven new-to-me cards puts me at 617 different Larkin cards already scanned and now waiting to be posted about)!

It feels good to have that box of envelopes finally sorted and put away...now I can turn my attention to some of the other mail that I've received over the past month or so.

  1. Pretty cool card to own duplicates of. I loved the 90's, because of exchange cards like this and UD's You Crash the Game.
