The Medalists set from 1994 Triple Play is a 15 card set featuring the three best players at each position (in Donruss' estimation).  With that framework in mind, it's no surprise to see a young Barry Larkin listed as the "gold medalist" for National League shortstops!  

Overall, I'd say that this is a fun way to showcase multiple players.  I like the concept of "good, better, best" with the Olympic medal colors (Gold, Silver, Bronze).  Heck, even the back of the card is well done where each of the three players gets a bit of the spotlight (plus large team logos, hooray)!  If only the front hadn't made such ample use of foilboard, this card could be perfect!
