Delivery Time! A Surprise Card from Dillard's Dugout

Typically, I use my Monday post slot for the previous week's TCDB trade wrap-ups.  Unfortunately, I didn't receive any cards from TCDB trades in the past week so that option is out.  Luckily, I didn't get shut out of card packages in the mail though thanks to a surprise mailing from Michael over at Dillard's Dugout.

Michael said he was going through a box and found a card that made him think of me:

How cool is that?  That's a Silver Press Proof from 1998 Donruss, definitely an appreciated card for my collection with its awesome die-cut attributes (and a print run of only 1500 cards).  That said, honestly I'm even more appreciative that someone from halfway across the United States can see a card somewhere and then think of me - never mind actually following through and mailing it to me.  Just the mere fact that this blog has reached enough people that that's even a thing is rather awe inspiring to me!
