Highlights from a Case of 2023 Topps Allen & Ginter: Box #9

My ninth box out of my case of 2023 Topps Allen & Ginter yielded another big surprise: 

Yep, that's the second Music to Your Ears relic card out of the case.  I definitely beat the odds here as the relics are supposedly seeded 1:1,460 packs or 1:61 boxes.  I like that this relic actually looks interesting - I got an interesting bit of the mandolin in the relic!

Another highlight from the box was my second "In Action" parallel:

Gleyber Torres isn't the most exciting name on the checklist but it's still a nice pull.  However, given how tough these are to pull (and given how many of them there are in the set), I've made the decision that I won't be collecting them for my set.

Things I will be collecting, however, include the various mini insert sets.  This box gave me another four including two more from the awesome World of Wonder set.

I think Topps did a great job with this year's mini sets, I like what I've seen thus far from all of them!

Finally, the other two hits in the box:

In a word:  *yawn*

While the other two hits didn't move the excitement needle, I will say the rest of this box was a resounding success.  Only three more boxes to go before I have the full case ripped!
