Another Batch of Pristine Cards!

Last week, I showed off a couple of 2023 Topps Pristine Barry Larkin cards that I was able to add to my collection.  Today, I've got a couple more cards from the same set to show off!

Let's start with this shiny beauty:

That's the refractor parallel of Larkin's base card from 2023 Pristine.  I love the look of the card - reminds me of a cross between late 90s Gold Label and late 90s Tek (without the acetate).

Next, from a different eBay seller comes the Purple Refractor parallel:

The Purple Refractors are numbered out of 99.

There are still way too many parallels in this set to try and track down but I'm definitely pleased to pick off a couple for my Barry Larkin binder.  I kind of enjoy having a set with a bunch of parallels but the problem is that Topps is doing that to most of their sets.  One parallel heavy set is fine but when all sets become bloated with parallels it makes acquiring any of them feel futile.  Case in point with the Purple Refractor - it was a card numbered out of only 99 copies from a higher-end set and I was able to get it for $5 shipped.

Parallel bloat (and parallel fatigue) is real folks.
