Racking Up More Chrome Platinum Cards!

Black Friday shopping is done, Cyber Monday shopping awaits.  I guess that means that today is a perfect day to highlight a couple of recent purchases that weren't part of the commercialization of the holidays.  Both of the cards below came from eBay sales, though neither came from the same seller so I ended up having to get hit with shipping charges twice.

First up, this beautiful Red Atomic Refractor from 2022 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary.

I'm still trying to pick up the various Barry Larkin parallels from the 2022 Chrome Platinum set whenever I see them for a reasonable price.  At this point in time, I've knocked off most of the common parallels but with 35 total different Barry Larkin cards in the set I've got plenty of searching to do yet!

Sticking with 2022 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary, I also grabbed this X-Fractor that I needed.

I'm happy to have two more Larkin cards in my collection.  With those two cards now in hand, I now own 14 of the 35 different Barry Larkin cards from the set.

Too many parallels! They really don't make it easy for player collectors, do they? That said I love the red Larkin - which looks magenta in your scan, but I'm not disputing that it's a Red lol.

    1. Unfortunately, it could be the Fuscia parallel - I find them impossible to tell without having both versions in hand at the same time. I'm trusting the eBay seller on this one (which could be a mistake).

  3. That's a ridiculous amount of parallels. But if you ever collect them all... it will be one heck of an accomplishment.
