Today, I have another Not-So-Secret Santa return to show off, this one being from Matt over at Diamond Jesters.
I sent Matt a bunch of stuff which he showed off on his blog last month (see his post here). In return, Matt sent me a new LEGO set which I'm sure I'll end up sharing with my son!
I don't remember seeing the Super Robot set before so that's cool. I like the Creator 3-in-1 sets because they truly do foster a more creative experience (each kit can be built into three different models). This particular set builds either a robot, a plane, or a dragon-esque critter. That's a nice variety of builds to get those creative juices flowing.
In addition to the LEGO set, Matt also included a special holiday version of Barry Larkin's 1991 Score card:
For you card purists out there, don't worry, Matt painted over top of a penny sleeve as opposed to on the card directly. Then again, for as many copies of this card that I own already, I suppose a painted version would have been perfectly fine!
Finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't show off the Christmas card that Matt included as well:
Thanks for the return package, Matt!

You're welcome! I hope your family and you had a great Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love everything about this gift! That LEGO set looks like it's as close to Tranformers as you could get without being sued by Hasbro (provided Hasbro still owns the license). The arted up penny sleeve is really neat, I hadn't seen Matt do anything like that before. And what a wonderful greeting card.
