Happy TCDB Monday!

Another week begins, and somehow, it's already the last week of July that is beginning.  For my teacher friends out there, you know what that means:  School's about to start again!  I swear summers go faster and faster every year!

We aren't quite to the point where I have to start writing course syllabi and update course pages, so let's keep enjoying summer and while we are at it, how about taking a gander at this past week's worth of TCDB trading?

First up, from user schwefumbler comes a trio of needed Silver Pack Chrome cards from 2024 Topps Series 1.

This was a nice 3-for-3 swap of Series 1 Chrome cards, presumably getting both of us three cards closer to completing our respective set builds!  No real surprise that I needed three rookies this late in the Series 1 set build (though to be fair, there are a lot of rookies in the Silver Pack Chrome set this year).  

Next up, from user drew_engquist comes a shiny chrome card from Series 2 plus a few Series 2 base cards that I was still missing after opening a pair of hobby boxes for myself.  

I still need a ton of the Silver Pack Chrome cards from Series 2.  If, by chance, anyone reading this has any available for trade please let me know!  Here's the full list of what I'm still searching for:

Finally, we end this past week on TCDB with a big envelope full of 2024 base cards from user howe9909:

That's what should be the the penultimate batch of 2024 Topps Series 2 base cards that I need for my set build.  If I updated my TCDB want list correctly, there's one more batch of cards that I need (and that I've already agreed to a trade for).  Hopefully, by the time you read next Monday's TCDB wrap-up post I'll be able to confirm that my Topps flagship set build is actually complete for the year!

That does it for the past week in trades!  Definitely one of my largest weeks in recent memory in terms of the number of incoming cards (thanks to the stack of 49 base cards from howe9909).
