Box #11 from my Case of 2024 Allen & Ginter (Another Box with Four Hits Including a Rip Card!)

We've made it to the penultimate box in my case of 2024 Topps Allen & Ginter.  I'm sad to see the case break coming to an end but I am looking forward to collating everything and then doing a whole lot of trading!  Of course, by the time you read this post I should have the full case busted and sorted, but for now, it's on to Box 11!

Box 11:

As always, let's begin with the box topper:

Another baseball cabinet card.  I think I've decided that I'm not going to collect these (I've got enough on my plate by chasing two Chrome sets - the mini Chrome and the Chrome Refractors).

Speaking of Chrome Refractors, box 11 did yield one of those plus several other full-sized parallels:

I have almost nothing to say about any of the five parallels other than I'm glad to get a Chrome Refractor that I didn't yet own.  Pretty boring batch of players.

Moving to something more exciting, the minis!

Box 11 gave me all sorts of goodies of the mini variety. There are three black bordered minis, TWO chrome minis, plus SIX mini inserts including another Got the Itch card that actually does smell like Watermelon.  This was a treasure trove of a box for a mini collector like myself...and the good stuff isn't done yet.

In addition to the bountiful selection of minis, Box #11 also gave me FOUR hits (this is the second box in the case with four hits):

That's now back-to-back boxes with a Rip Card after coming up empty on that front for the first nine boxes.  The Colton Cowser autograph might be the real prize here as it's the blue frame parallel which is #/50!!  Heck, even the full-sized relic of Miki Sudo is interesting looking.

This was a great box all around, perhaps the best of the entire case?!  Definitely a strong finish no matter what Box #12 gives us.

  1. Glad to see Sudo on the checklist. I've watched her in a few food competitions and at one point followed her YouTube channel. Looks like she has an autograph card in this product. I'll have to chase it down for my Japanese athlete (are professional eaters considered athletes?) PC.
