COMC Delivers! Part 2 (A Pile of Chrome, Two Completed Sets, and a House #/999).

Yesterday, I showed off the first few cards from my recent COMC order.  Today, I'm back to show off even more cards, starting with a huge lot of 2024 Topps Series 2 Chrome Silver Pack Mojo cards:

The batch of 12 Chrome cards you see above finished off my Series 2 set build!  I am now extremely pleased to report that I've built the entire 200-card run of Chrome Silver Pack Mojo cards from 2024 Topps (Series 1 and Series 2).  

Sticking with the shiny theme, my next purchase was a lone card from the 2001 Topps Gold Label set:

That's J.R. House's Class 1 base card which is numbered out of 999.  The 2001 Gold Label set has a bunch of rookies that are short printed in the base set, each of which is numbered out of 999.  I hate when base sets have serially numbered subsets - but I do like the look of the '01 Gold Label set enough that I'm still slowly plugging away on the stupid short prints!

Finally, let's end today's post with another completed set:

That's the final Classic Combos card that I needed from the 2012 Topps Archives set.  

With the Southpaw Bombers card now in hand, I am pleased to report that I've officially completed seven different sets thus far in 2025!  I have to give a lot of thanks for sites like COMC that exist; otherwise, how else would I ever acquire such a random assortment of needed cards as you see above?!  I still have some more goodies to show off from COMC in a future post, so stay tuned for that coming soon!
