Free Cards from Johnny's Trading Spot!

I'm a little late (okay, I'm a full month late) in showing off some free prize cards that I won from Johnny's Trading Spot.  Johnny gave away 30 9-pocket pages worth of cards at random, and I was lucky enough to win page #29.

What's included on page 29?  A bunch of old magazine cards spread across four different years (1989 - 1992):

I'll be honest, other than Barry Larkin cards, I don't collect magazine cards, so these will all be used for my own giveaways over on my Discord!  I appreciate Johnny's generosity, and I think paying it forward is the correct option here!

In addition to the seven magazine cards, my prize page also included a basketball Starting Lineup card:

I don't collect sports other than baseball, so this card will also end up as a giveaway on my Discord.

And finally, the big prize (as far as I am concerned), a Topps Hobby Night checklist card of Bobby Witt, Jr.

Bobby Witt, Jr. is one of my current favorite non-Reds players, so I'm super happy to land this card as a fun surprise!

Johnny's giveaway was a lot of fun, and he gave away a lot of cool cards.  I'm happy to add the Witt, Jr. to my personal collection, and I appreciate having some different cards to add to my own giveaways in the near future!  Many thanks to Johnny!

  1. Very nice. I'm a sucker for anything SLU and the Everett throwback is interesting as well.

  2. I would have been stoked to find a KJ SLU back in 1992. I don't follow basketball as much as I did during the 80's and 90's, but he always seemed to be underrated.
