As I sit here right now, I have a whopping 16 different card packages sitting on my desk waiting for me to open, catalog, sort, scan, and write about! Most of those are from TCDB trades, and today I aim to make some progress on going through that giant stack!
With no time to waste, let's begin with a trade with TCDB user Pumastikes:
Three cards from three different set builds, always nice to knock cards off of multiple want lists! It's also nice to have been able to swing a deal for an Ohtani card; it's getting harder and harder to do that on TCDB (or at least that's been my experience lately). The 2025 Holiday set is annoying in that sense since Topps included multiple Ohtani cards!
The next swap was with user nyygregory:
I think I agreed to this trade, and then a short time later won a lot of fish cards on eBay that happened to include the Seadragon. That's alright, I guess. Hopefully, I'll turn this duplicate into one of the fish cards that I do still need!
Moving right along to a package with cards that I did actually still need, thanks to Ryegram, I am able to knock another bunch of 2025 A&G minis off of my want list:
I love all of my trades, but I especially love getting a huge batch of A&G minis all in one go! Of the bunch, I think the White Shoal Lighthouse is my favorite (though the A&G back Barry Larkin card is, of course, another favorite)!
Next, from user ksu_lee comes more 2025 Topps Holiday inserts:
I'm nearly done with the Making the Nice List insert set (and by the time I get through all of my TCDB packages, I should be done with the set)! This was a nice trade in that I was able to grab both the Skenes and one of the many Judge cards in the set. Both Skenes and Judge are often tough to trade for, even when it's a relatively common set like the Advent Calendar exclusive Nice List set.
We'll end today's post the same way we began it, with a package from user Pumastikes!
Yep, my second trade in the time it took me to get some of my envelopes sorted and posted!
I will (hopefully) have more TCDB trades to show off next Monday. I've been absolutely swamped with work this semester, mostly because I have a brand new prep that requires a ton of work on my end to get the class ready. No worries, though, the cards will be waiting for me whenever I have the chance to work with them!
