TCDB Monday: A Week of Ohtani Packages!

Happy Monday, everyone.  I assume that most of you reading this post are off on holiday today.  Unfortunately for me, the college where I work doesn't close for today, so it's a full work day for me.  I know none of you feel bad for me though, after all, I do get the majority of the summer months off.  I guess I can stomach working an extra day in February!

Anyhow, enough work talk.  Let's discuss something much more fun:  baseball cards!

I've slowed down on completing new trades, but with how slow the mail has been, I still had a steady trickle of packages arrive over the past week or so from trades that I agreed to in January (in many cases).  We'll start with this beauty from user DfourDamage:

That's the Shohei Ohtani mini from last year's Allen & Ginter N222 mini insert set.  I'm certainly happy to have this one in my possession!  The N222 set is the set that I'm probably the furthest behind in terms of completing at the moment, so every bit helps.

Next from user Sharpie0226 comes a Topps Holiday card from last year's set plus another A&G mini (also from 2025):

If my want list is to be believed, that should do it for my 2025 Topps Holiday set!  I'm super happy to have finished off my third set in 2026 already.

Next up, from user heimermo comes another needed Shohei card!

That's one of the Silver Pack Chrome Mojo cards from the 2025 Topps base set.  I'm a huge fan of the 1990 design, especially in Chrome form.  I haven't seen any of the 1991 Chrome cards yet (from 2026 Topps), but I'm guessing those will be appealing to me as well.  Topps is currently hitting the child nostalgia factor hard for people of my age bracket!

And with that, I'm going to have to call it a day for this particular post.  I do have a few more envelopes waiting to be scanned and written about, but I'm now out of time to get this particular post published.  Enjoy your holiday (if you are off) and, otherwise, have a great Monday at work, everyone.
