The '89 Fleer design is actually a classic design in my book. I think the All-Star break comic with the half-season stats were about 7 or 8 years before their time (fantasy players eat that kind of information up now)! As for the photo itself, it's nothing spectacular. A rather plain, still shot of the Reds future captain...about par for the course when it comes to Fleer photography in the '89 set.
