More mail - more cards knocked off my want list! This time, a package from Adam of the Thoughts and Sox blog showed up in my mailbox. I sent Adam some 2008 Upper Deck base cards, a few 2008 Upper Deck Timeline short prints, a 2008 Topps Allen & Ginter mini card, and a couple of other cards. In return, Adam sent me a bunch of goodies!
Adam sent me:
2009 Upper Deck:
These are the first Upper Deck cards from 2009 that I have! I decided that I needed to cut back on at least a few sets this year, so I chose the Topps base set to collect since I liked it better this year (of course, that was before I knew there were three different versions of the Topps base set...)
94. Chris Dickerson
99. Johnny Cueto (Some sort of parallel, numbered out of 99 on the front 16/99. I)
2009 Topps Heritage:
175. Tim Redding
266. Ricky Nolasco
302. Philadelphia Phillies
415. Jayson Werth
2009 Topps Heritage Chrome:
I really like the chrome set this year - but I'm not optimistic that I'll be able to complete it...they've been quite difficult to track down in trades!
C78. Kila Ka'aihue
Finally, in what is probably my favorite card of the entire trade, Adam threw in a surprise Barry Larkin card. The best part is that not only did I not have the card, I didn't even know it existed before opening the package! Thanks Adam - and rest assured, the Larkin card will get its own post as part of my ongoing Barry Larkin Collection series.
Thanks again Adam. As always, if anyone else would like to work out a trade, check out my want list and make an offer!

You can thank Padregraphs for that Larkin. He used it as filler for some cards he sent me a few weeks ago.
