Heading into Tuesday's games, my beloved Redlegs hold a 6 game advantage over the second place Cardinals in the NL Central. The Reds have a magic number of 21 for the division and 24 for the Wild Card. It's certainly an exciting time to be a Reds fan - and if the Reds win three more games they'll be assured of their first winning record in a decade.
Let that sink in...
Most Reds fans would have been happy for a winning record this year - after all, 2011 was the year the Reds were supposed to compete for a title. Right now, assuming they do manage to win at least three of their last 25 games, everything else the Reds do will simply be gravy.
If I get too disappointed with the Reds during any series from here on out, I'll at least have this post to remind me why I should actually be happy.

Love the layout/design. Hate your team. :) Just so you know, the Cards magic number is 32. Not as nice as 21, but maybe we can close the gap soon. Congrats on the winning season.
