Group Break: The Final 50: Packs 16 - 20 (and a surprise hit!)

Let's crack open another five packs...

1997 Collector's Choice:
252.  Garret Anderson - Angels
284.  Tim Wakefield - Red Sox
285.  Brian McRae - Cubs
288.  Kevin Foster - Cubs
326.  Chipper Jones - Braves
340.  Melvin Nieves - Tigers
350.  Craig Biggio - Astros
353.  Pat Listach - Astros
371.  Steve Sparks - Brewers
413.  Dave Telgheder - Athletics
438.  Delino DeShields - Cardinals
483.  Paul Sorrento - Mariners
26 of 45.  Mike Piazza - All-Star Connection - Dodgers
T25.  Tony Gwynn - Toast of the Town - Padres

Ah, here is the box hit for Collector's Choice - the Toast of the Town cards are seeded 1:35 packs making them (almost) one-per-box.  It's a nice enough card, though I do think they went a little overboard with the Collector's Choice logo at the top of the card!

1999 Pacific:
I actually already posted this pack over on A Pack to be Named Later.  Check it out here if you missed it the first time around!

2000 Fleer EX:
25.  Freddy Garcia - Mariners

56.  Troy Glaus - Angels

60.  Todd Helton - Rockies

Checklist 2 of 2

2003 Topps Bazooka:
109.  Ryan Jensen - Giants
178.  Freddy Garcia - Mariners
209.  Preston Wilson - Rockies
244.  Kazuhiro Sasaki - Mariners
245.  Jeff Bagwell - Astros
162.  Mike Restovich - Mini - Twins
247.  Xavier Nady - Silver Chunk - Padres
15 of 25.  Adam Dunn - Bazooka Stand-up - Reds

A nice little insert for my team, the Reds!  There really haven't been many good Reds cards - except out of the Bazooka box.  As usual, it seems I pull lots of stuff that other people want...which I guess is what makes me a good group break host - you know I won't get much of anything out of the packs!

2004 Topps Cracker Jack:
27.  Mueller - Red Sox
54.  Colon - Angels
59.  Jordan - Rangers
85.  Ramirez - Red Sox
135.  Klesko - Padres
160.  Moyer - Mariners
187.  Harvey - Cubs
237.  Soriano - Rangers
97.  Adam Dunn - Mini - Reds
Secret pack:
53.  Hunter - Sticker mini - Twins
TB-JGH.  Jason Giambi - Take Me Out to the Ball Game Relic - Yankees

Woah!  The Cracker Jack box delivered a hit (hits aren't promised in this box so we got lucky)!  Giambi is part of Group C - of which the Group C relics are seeded 1 in every 152 packs!  A very, very nice pull - and a really neat relic card too...it's the size of the Cracker Jack mini parallels, much classier than most relic cards in today's products!  In fact, this relic is nice enough that I might take a chance on a box of this stuff for myself sometime hoping to nab one - I really like it...even if it is a Yankee!

Well, it should come as no surprise that this group of five packs was a good one - especially since we pulled a tough to find relic card from the Cracker Jack box!  Stay tuned, the final few packs are on their way!
