Even if the playoff series was one of the most embarrassing series of the year, the Reds still outperformed almost everybody's expectations. For a team that was built to contend in 2011, a playoff run (no matter how short) in 2010 shouldn't be considered anything but a surprising success!
When do pitchers and catchers report?
The Reds have a good young core and some quality pitchers. They very well could be a force for the next several years.
