Ok, I thought the Melendez card above was the cutest card in the pack easily - but then I saw the adorable McGriff card with his slugger son in the photo (or so I assume).

Man, what an awesome post. I knew about the McGriff and love that card a lot, but the Melendez I was not aware of.
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for Jose Melendez because my brothers and I all had weird alternate names as kids and one of them was Bill Melendez. I was Spanky Rodriguez and the other brother was Horace Earl. Where they came from I know not, but the name Melendez is one that always pops out to me now.
